Job Description

IKS Health is a global healthcare services company that provides an integrated solution enabling enterprise healthcare organizations to achieve superior financial and clinical outcomes while also empowering them to grow successfully, operate efficiently, and navigate industry change. Our integrated solution includes - financial solutions (including revenue generation, revenue capture, revenue collection, and revenue protection) technology and practice solutions (including software, implementation, analytics, training, and support) and clinical solutions (including virtual scribe, data abstraction, clinical documentation, implementation, coding, and other services that utilize trained clinicians in India).        

As a leading US healthcare clinical services player, IKS is looking for qualified physicians to build, deliver, standardise and scale such service(es) and solutions to its clients. The key responsibilities of the job may include:

- Ability to review the patient's longitudinal medical record & triage potential conditions based on symptoms, medications, labs, clinical notes, social & family history among other data points.

- Understanding value-based healthcare in the US particularly key concepts associated with patient risk, major conditions, medical coding and comorbidities driving healthcare utilisation and consumption, and key shifts in value based care.

Over time, team members in this program shall be expected to grow into clinical leaders within IKS by evolving into multiple roles. Example growth roles may include (not an exhaustive list):

- Growing into a delivery leader : Evolve from conducting chart reviews to managing chart review projects for multiple client physicians/provider organizations. May also include diversification and growth into multiple specialties and increasing the scope of deliverables from IKS. Over the longer term, such a role may also include automating the review process using AI/ML solutions; building analytics capabilities and so on.

- Grow into a solutioning leader : and partner with clients, client physicians to co-create new solutions, solution extensions and pilot them. A solutioning leader may play a key role in building a portfolio of such deeply clinical services for IKS to capture even more value in this market

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

Successful candidates shall bring the following skills and qualifications to the role:

- Is a qualified MBBS doctor with or without postgraduate degrees (clinical PG, MHA/MPH/MBA may be helpful but not essential)

- Has strong clinical knowledge base with a proven practice experience; demonstrated clinical acumen, attention to detail and thoroughness to conduct detailed chart reviews, patient history analyses and clinical evidence assessment

- Bring real problem solving skills, strong written and oral communication skills to condense findings into actionable reports and recommendations.

- Skills, expertise and interest in healthcare technology, public health, healthcare management and practice management to build and scale our services over time

- Excellent interpersonal skills, collaborative skills and team/client management skills to work with team members, fellow clinicians and engage with client personnel

Selection process:

Successful candidates shall be selected by a multi-stage evaluation and selection process as follows:

- Written test to evaluate understanding of clinical medicine, problem solving and analytical skills and other core clinical/business skills

- Interview panel to assess fit with IKS and project requirements
