Job Profile - Finance/Accounts Head

Job Description

• A candidate who has experience of previously working in an import and export company and is well versed with international accounting practices in trading industry.
• Co-ordinate financial reporting for consolidation purposes and recommends Financial actions by analysing accounting options.
• Review the Group Management Accounts and query respective entities on variance in performance from budgets
• Ensure timely reporting for and monitor compliance with Financial Accounting Standards, CIS Code and other regulatory reporting requirements
• Handle preparation of quarterly financial statement, Board and Audit Committee Papers and checking external monthly/quarterly presentations
• Co-ordinate debt compliance reporting and ensure timely submission to banks
• Liaise with the Financial Institutions, bankers and management over daily operational matters.
• Monitor the daily treasury and overall cash position, including funds utilisation and carry out cash flow projections
• Liaise with internal and external auditor and tax agents.
• Provide ad-hoc support for acquisitions, financing activities and other projects
• Responsible for the management, preparation, and analysis of consolidated financial statements.
• Report on the actual financial performances against and explain the variances with facts and figures.
• Prepares Special financial reports, MIS by collecting, analysing and summarizing account information and trends.
• Preparation of weekly reports, sales reports, financials, MIS and other report submission as needed by the management.
• Prepare group Financials, Costing, Budgets and Forecast Qualifications

DESIRED CANDIDATE /JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Chartered Accountant with CS
• 6-8 years experience with Import Export, Trading companies preferred and experience in International Taxational Laws would be beneficial.
• Full Fledge Handling of Group accounting Preferred.
• Possess experience in both SMEs & MNCs will be a strong advantage.
