Job Description

Administration and management of SolarWinds Platform
Detail Understanding and the Working Knowledge of Installations, Patch updates, Version Upgrades etc.
Thorough Knowledge of NetBrain in creating the Data Views, Dashboards, QApps and runbooks
Performance Monitoring: Monitoring of all the metrics which include CPU/memory utilization, bandwidth, buffer hits, misses input/output packet drops
Managing Network Devices - Device management, Network Config Manager, Event Correlation
Investigate process down alerts and restart the services according to SOP
Create the Groups, Monitoring Profiles, Thresholds and Custom Reports based on Customer requirements
Perform regular audits to ensure all the devices are monitored from the tool
Auto Maps: Discovery of the Seed device and other interconnected devices, and drawing a map
Provide visibility through network auto-maps with respect to logical and physical topology
NetFlow-based Traffic Analysis - visibility of applications/top talkers through NetFlow
Capacity Management, Performance and availability management
Configuration Management: Config backups, Automate and schedule bulk changes, Realtime change tracking
Provision for examining configuration for compliance to a defined set of internal/external policies
In-Depth Knowledge on Windows & Linux
Should have good communication and customer interaction skills
Team management Responsibilities
