JAVASCRIPT DEVELOPER

Saxo Bank IT consist of over 500 IT professionals based in Copenhagen and Delhi who, using latest technologies and agile methodologies; design, build and run the Saxo Bank award winning, global multi-asset trading platform. Our specialty is within capital markets with focus on; high reliability, large volumes, low latency and a world class, cloud-based experience for retail, institutional and white-label clients.

Our in-house designed, built and operated Saxo Bank trading platform handles:

over 25,000 concurrent online clients 24 hours per day / 5,5 trading days per week
more than 160,000 unique monthly users to our social trading portal
in excess of 400,000 price feed updates per second
intraday execution and booking of up to 900 trades per second
over 500,000 trade transactions processed daily

THE JOB

We are looking for a Sr. Javascript Developer for our IT Client Experience department, which consists of 100+ employees and its overall purpose, is to develop and maintain the next generation of our HTML5 trading applications within Saxo Bank.
You will be part of the core JavaScript, HTML5 product team who is responsible for
• Day-to-day operation, maintenance and technical enhancement of the JavaScript/ HTML5 trading applications
• Development of new features.
• Implementation of technical improvements
• Handling software-related incidents from the production systems

YOUR PROFILE

• Total experience should be 4+ years
• 4+ years of professional experience with Advanced JS and web technologies including Single-page applications.
• Extensive experience in writing modular JavaScript.
• Proficient in any modern front-end JS frameworks (e.g. React, Redux)
• Experience with rendering techniques and writing high performing code
• Experience designing and developing for multiple form factors (mobile/tablet/desktop), across multiple platforms (Win/OSX/iOS/Android) a big plus
• Strong interest in latest web and JS trends
• Strong interest in product and user interface design
